Scope and content

Series represents a significant component of Braybrooke's career documenting his extensive writing and publishing activities, including the writing and publication of Congestion Goes Through the Issue Machine, Three Tests for Democracy, A Strategy of Decision, Ethics in the World of Business, and Logic on the Track of Social Change. Although the majority of the works were created in Canada or the United States, many also document writing done in collaboration with colleagues from around the world. The series includes notes, draft manuscripts, and (in some cases) final publications. Writings include original works and reviews of the works of others. Correspondence in this series contains incoming and outgoing letters with colleagues, editors, and requests for offprints. Additionally, Braybrooke kept records of all the major works that formed the bases of his personal research (including works by Kant, Hume, etc.). Thus, publications by others which he used in his research also form part of this series.
