File also contains one copy of the special resolution related to the renaming that was passed at the general meeting, the certificate of incorporation for the new business name, and associated correspondence and paperwork.
Series contains reference materials used by volunteers of the GayLine. Series is divided into two subseries. The first sub-series contains reference and educational materials used by GayLine volunteers covering issues such as homosexuality and coming out, sexual heath and AIDS prevention, alcoholism and substance abuse, abuse in LGBT relationships, parenting, discrimination, legal rights, and women's issues. Materials include pamphlets, flyers, legal briefs and resources, newsletters, essays, and bibliographies. The second subseries contains reference materials relating to the operations of other helplines, as well as information about LGBT businesses and services, community groups, and events in Halifax, across Canada, and in the United States, Europe, Mexico, and Oceania. Materials include advertisements and press releases, pamphlets, newsletters, flyers, information sheets, and directories.
File contains a list of gay and lesbian owned and operated bed and breakfasts, compiled by the owners of the Centre Town/Ville Bed and Breakfast and accompanying correspondence. This list features businesses that have chosen to take part in an informal business association called the Maritime Rainbow Connection.
File contains materials relating to the annual congressional business meeting of the Safe Harbour Metropolitan Community Church, held on 1994-02-06. Materials include meeting minutes, correspondence from Reverend Darlene Young to Safe Harbour congregants, and a seventeen page booklet of agendas, reports, and membership lists.
File contains posters for events at Rumours, a bar in Halifax that was owned and operated by the Gay and Lesbian Association of Nova Scotia (GALA) from 1982 to 1995. File includes one poster for the Rumour's goes to the movies event, held on May 21-23, 1993; one poster for the Winter blues meltdown, held on 1994-02-25; three posters for the Valentine's weekend event, held on February 12-13, 1994; and three posters for the Jest for laughs comedy show, held on 1993-09-06.

File contains one hand-painted banner produced or collected by the Gay and Lesbian Association (GALA) for the 1995 Halifax Pride parade. Banner is painted on a white piece of fabric, and features pink text outlined in black that reads "PRIDE '95". Banner also features two black circles filled with pink triangles on either side of the text.
Series contains paper posters and acetate negatives of posters for events held at Rumours, a bar owned and operated by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance [GALA], located in Halifax. Events include dances, stage shows, Pride events, and meetings associated with GALA operations.
File contains one banner for Atlantic Provinces Political Lesbians for Equality (APPLE), used in a Pride parade, march, or demonstration and collected by the Gay and Lesbian Association. Banner is made of a white bedsheet with black fabric letters reading "APPLE" sewn on.
Series contains documentation of women's events such as Wild Women's Weekend (1989-1990, 1995), Take Back the Night March (1990 - 1991), Women's Health Educational Network (1989, 1992), and International Women's Day (1990-1991, 1993-1994).
