Biographical history

Allen Fulton was a Nova Scotia mariner who served as captain of the barque Oseco ca. 1872-1877. This ship was owned and built by Jotham O'Brien of Maccan, Nova Scotia.

Custodial history

Records were donated to the Dalhousie University Archives in accession (1-91) in 1991.

Scope and content

Fonds includes receipts, charters, letters, and a document listing wages paid on the barque Oseco between 1871-1876, and one 1872 document regarding the barque Annetta.
