Biographical history

Judy Radul is an interdisciplinary artist from Vancouver, who has exhibited artwork internationally. Radul is also a writer, whose creative essays have been published in a variety of publications. She received a MFA in visual and media arts from Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson in 2000. Radul is currently the Chair of the graduate program at the School for the Contemporary Arts at Simon Fraser University.

Item contains the audio portion of an audio-visual installation created by Judy Radul. It includes the voices of Jim MacSwain, Jo-Anne Citrigno, Kirsten Forkert, Christine Thompson, Janice Dillon, Shirley Bear, Phllis McGregor, Glynis Humphrey, Christof Migone, Gillian Collyer, and Eun-Jung Kim. Most of the audio recording was done in Halifax in February 1996 with the assistance of a residency at the Centre for Art Tapes.
