Biology 3220B land plants : a survey

File is a textbook entitled “Land plants : a survey” by Gary Hicks. The textbook was published in 1997 for Biology 3220B, a course offered at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The cards deal with a variety of scientific topics, including but not limited to: the effects of mechanical stress on cartilage in vitro; a clinical overview of neurofibramitosis; and the growth of the facial skeleton in the hominoidea. The card sorters are located in Box 6.

Photographs from high school tours of Dalhousie science buildings

File contains prints and proof sheets of photographs taken during high school tours of the Sir James Dunn Science Building and possibly the Life Science Centre at Dalhousie University. Most of the photographs were taken during a tour by students from Oxford Regional High School and show Dr. G. Stroink and Ralph Deveau demonstrating science experiments.
