Biographical history

Peter Perina studied at the School of Fine Arts in Prague and worked in Czechoslovakia after graduation (1964) until moving to Ottawa in 1967. From 1970 until 1972, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Saskatchewan, and in 1972, he joined the faculty of the Department of Theatre at Dalhousie University. Over his career, he designed 343 productions in Canada, the United States, and the Czech Republic.
