The view is of the front corner: view of dormer roofed, 2 story (+ attic) building with 4 front bay windows, covered front stairs with veranda above, and side porch visible.

Correspondence to Melville Cumming from the Office of the Commissioner for Works and Mines Nova Scotia

Item is correspondence from the Office of the Commissioner for Works and Mines Nova Scotia (E. H. Armstrong) to Melville Cumming, dated 5 November, 1913. It references an enclosed contract (two copies) for signature by W.K. Murray - contractor, in regards to the construction of the headhouse to the greenhouse.

Kenneth Cox (1946 - 1964)

Item is a photograph of Kenneth Cox. In 1937, Dr. Cox moved to Truro, Nova Scotia, where he accepted an appointment as Provincial Agronomist and Professor of Agronomy at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. These two roles were continued until 1946. In 1941 he was also appointed Vice-Principal of the College and Farm Director. He held the position of Nova Scotia Agricultural College principal from 1946 - 1964.

Clearly a winter scene.
