Subseries contains materials that were used in an Agricola exhibit in the MacRae library in 2017 called "Is this our Aggie?". Archival materials were used from the Agricola collection, as well as reproductions from various other sources that spanned from 1905 to 2017. Staff tried to piece together the story of one of our early graduates Wilfred A. Costa to see if he was indeed the Wilfred Aldophus DeCosta, their timelines seemed to match.

Included is a photograph of the 1945-1946 Nova Scotia Agricultural College hockey team and a photocopy of a newspaper article including the same photo and a caption with regard to a reunion of the Truro and District Hockey League that took place May 9, 1992 [?] at Keddy's.

This sub-series contains the full-text resources and article citations about wild blueberry (Vaccinium angustifolium Ait) production and marketing in Eastern Canada and Maine, including bibliographies, research reports, newsletters, and abstracts. Topics covered include: horticulture, management, crop culture, varieties, improvement harvesting, storage, processing, products – utilization, soil management, soil fertility, fertilizers, insects - diseases - pests, entomology, plant insects, plant pathology, weeds. rodents and pests, crop buildings and equipment, field machinery, production economics, and marketing.
Subseries contains a collection of photographs used in the "An apple a day" exhibit held at the MacRae Library in 1998, highlighting the photographic glass slides found on campus that were believed to be taken by Fred Sears. Dr. Alex Georgallas was the acting archivist and curated the exhibit of prints of the Fred Sears glass slides. Most of the photographs center around apples and orchard practices and buildings of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. Notes on some of the sleeves of the negatives suggest that they date from the period 1906/7. It seems likely that they are connected with courses taught by Fred C. Sears at the NSAC during this period.

Subseries contains yearbooks of the Dalhousie University School of Education: Spitballs and Chalkdust (1994); and Taking a Bite Out of Time (1995). The title ceased with the issue for1995 upon cessation of the program.
