Attracting and retaining immigrants in the arts and culture sector : Policy challenges and opportunities

Subseries contains records produced as a result of Jill Grant's strategic research grant from Atlantic Metropolis Centre regarding immigration and the creative city. The first project was an evaluation of the immigration plans and policies developed by Halifax Regional Municipality, followed by a study with immigrant cultural workers.

Records include grant applications and reports, research ethics applications and reports, correspondence, notebooks, working papers, research data (interviews and surveys) and participant consent forms. Records related to research output (publications and presentations) are primarily found in the publications series, and some working papers are available on the Atlantic Metropolis Centre website. http://community.smu.ca/atlantic/working_papers_e.html
