They spoke at a gathering at the Halifax waterfront, sponsored by the Coalition for a Nuclear Free Harbour and Greenpeace. The gathering was in protest of the nuclear-armed British vessel, The Ark Royal. The recording begins with a song by Laura Smith, one of the local performers who participated in the gathering.
