Nicole : bilateral anophthalmia : a rare condition : part 1

Item is a videocassette of a case study of Nicole, a five-month-old baby with bilateral anophthalmia, a condition where one's head is large in proportion to one's body. The video was used as part of the Dalhousie Medical School curriculum. The video was shot by Dr. S. Keet from the Department of Pediatrics on a camcorder and dubbed to VHS from the camcorder tape.

Item is a videocassette from a conference, "Women in Medicine," held at the Dalhousie Medical School. The video is of a lecture by Dr. Heather Dean, Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Manitoba. The lecture is on short statured children, issues of discrimination, and whether it is a disability. It took place from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm on October 12, 1990. The video was requested by Lynn Power from the Dean's Office.

The video was used as part of the Dalhousie Medical School curriculum. The video is a dub of home movies and was requested by Dr. S. Keet from the Department of Pediatrics.

Patient 330 : part 2

Item is a videocassette of a young patient being examined by a doctor. A note inside of the tape case states that it is the "original of Jeffory"; "Jeffory" may be the name of the patient. The video was requested by Dr. Judith Ritchie from the School of Nursing and was used in the nursing curriculum.
