Some are made of embroidered fabric or vellum and all have messages written by Tupper on the reverse.

Raddall, Sr. in his Winnipeg Rifles uniform as a captain after recovering from being wounded at Ypres in 1915. He was later promoted to Lieutenant Colonel.

Raddall, Sr.'s name on the lower left side. Raddall, Sr. was a former instructor in the School of Musketry at Hythe, and was killed while commanding the Winnipeg Rifles, Canadian Expeditionary Force at Amiens France on August 9, 1918.
