Subseries contains yearbooks published by Dalhousie University students between 1927 and 1998. From 1929 onward, the yearbooks were printed under the title Pharos, a reference to the destroyed lighthouse in ancient Alexandria.

Dalhousie University yearbooks

Series comprises Dalhousie University yearbooks, including Pharos; the College of Pharmacy's Mortar & Pestle and Modo Opimum; Faculty of Law yearbooks; the School of Physiotherapy's Amicus Curia; Dalhousie's former Department of Education yearbooks; and the yearbooks of Nova Scotia Technical College and the Technical University of Nova Scotia.

Item is Dalhousie's fourth yearbook. It features photographs, drawings and written information about Dalhousie graduates, faculty, campus buildings, student societies and athletics. The volume is dedicated to Dr. Archibald MacMechan, Dalhousie professor of English language and literature from 1889-1931.
