Item is a photograph of a Tramp Art style doll cradle. The cradle was made by an artist in Pictou County, Nova Scotia around 1900. Each part was whittled and fitted together without the use of glue or nails. The cradle was made in the "crown of thorns" tradition because of the spiked ends.
