Collection consists of guide notes to a radio broadcast in the 1940's on Canadian farm problems. This was broadcast sponsored by The Canadian Association for Adult Education from Toronto. The guide notes were prepared by J.E. Lattimer, R. Summerby, Emile A. Lods, L.C. Raymond, J.N. Bird, E.W. Crampton, L.H. Hamilton and A.R. Ness.
This fonds contains research materials gathered by Susan Horne who was head of the Home Economics / 4-H Branch of the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture and Marketing. She used them while writing "Home Economists in Agriculture 1913-1985."
This collection contains information on the early Artificial insemination industry in Nova Scotia, including the original notebooks used by the first technician; also included were books on farming, shepherding, and the life of W.E. Gladstone.
Fonds consists of one invoice and a book containing two pages of notes about agriculture written by Kenneth Cox.
