Fonds comprises exam questions, debating notes, dance cards, invitations, sorority notes, pins and other memorabilia from McCurdy's student years at Dalhousie University. There are also records (correspondence, financial statements, clippings, menus) from university reunions in 1938, 1967 and 1977.
File contains a brochure with a brief history of the Dalhousie No. 7 Stationary Hospital, a nominal role of its staff, transcriptions of letters and lists of staff transferred in and out of the hospital.
Collection comprises two scrapbooks assembled by Ruth Marilyn (Goodman) Pink. The first was created during Goodman's years as a student at Dalhousie and contains photographs; dance cards; place cards; programs; schedules; and memorabilia from freshman initiation and other events. The other contains similar materials dating from Goodman's graduation and a few years following.
Fonds contains business papers, photographs and carnival documents from the Bill Lynch Shows. The business papers consist of financial records, including daily reports, receipts and invoices, correspondence, catalogues, ephemera and commercial scripts. Photographs include prints, cardboard imprints and a metal plate. The carnival documents include complimentary show passes, act and ride information, and blueprints of carnival rides.
Series contains various administrative documents used to run the Bill Lynch Shows. Materials include letterhead, Greater Exposition Shows contract forms (blank), railway passes, commercial scripts, blueprints, and photographs.
Fonds consists of patient records, autopsy reports, correspondence, various medical reports from several institutions, and business records including a ledger and daily journals.
File contains three certification tickets received by Arthur Charles Hawkins during the 1884-1885 session at the University of McGill College and Montreal General Hospital. The first two tickets confirm that Hawkins acted as a clinical clerk and a dresser in the surgical wards of Montreal General Hospital for three months ending in March 1885, as certified by Thomas G. Roddick, MD. The third ticket confirms Hawkins's enrolment in a Clinical Surgery course at McGill University, under Roddick's tutelage.
File contains ten student registration and matriculation tickets received by Arthur Charles Hawkins confirming his enrolment and attendance during the 1881-1882 session at the Halifax Medical College, Dalhousie College and University, and the Provincial and City Hospital. The tickets are for the following courses: Physiology (taught by John Somers); Clinical Surgery (taught by Edward Farrell and John F. Black); Practical Anatomy (taught by D.A. Campbell and A.W.H. Lindsay; with notes on dissection of extremities); Chemistry (taught by George Lawson); Anatomy (taught by George Sinclair); Materia Medica (taught by John F. Black); and Botany (taught by Benjamin G. Page).

Cowie and Edward Farrell; a Dalhousie College registration ticket for the 1885-1986 session (authorized by John Forrest, Principal); an incomplete ticket for a German course (1885-1886 session); and a library ticket (1881-1982 session) authorized by James Ross.

File contains a letter and circular sent from Harriet Taber Richardson, Secretary of the Associates of Port Royal, to the Essex Institute in 1930. The letter requests the Institute's support of the reconstruction of the Habitation.
Item is a wood circular from Liverpool, Nova Scotia, dated May 30, 1872. The circular reports on recent timber imports and sales and includes wholesale prices for American and Baltic timber products as of May 30, 1872.
Fonds includes circulars issued by Dalhousie University to recruit members for the Canadian Union of Public Employees as well as circulars issued by the Canadian Union of Public Employees to the existing Dalhousie University members. Also included in the fonds is a poster highlighting guest speaker Grace Hartman.
Fonds contains Dalhousie Staff Association newsletters from 1974-1980, collective agreements from 1975-1990, general notices from 1979-1980, meeting and member recruitment posters from various years, a pamphlet about the Dalhousie Staff Association, and a copy of the 1976 constitution.
File contains daily reports from the Bill Lynch Shows shows and rides from June to August 1949. The reports are from Halifax and New Glasgow. Areas that are filled out include name of attraction, starting number, finish number, tickets, price, gross, and total. There is one blank form.
File contains a scrapbook containing fifteen photographs of The Bill Lynch Shows and four envelope fragments, including one addressed to Mr W.P. Lynch from George A. Hamid, Inc., and one from the Al Martin Agency postmarked July 30, 1947.
Subseries contains records created by the Nova Scotia Agricultural College, records about the NSAC, and records pertaining to agriculture in Nova Scotia. Included are documents on educational resources, correspondence, memos, newspapers, clippings of articles, newsletters, new building plans, speech notes, a bound copy of "The history of the NSAC", agricultural education plans in the province, and the 75th anniversary committee file.
