Fonds consists of research notes and materials on the history of Nova Scotia and, more specifically, Liverpool and its prominent families, including family trees and hand-drawn annotated maps. Also included are many manuscripts on a variety of topics relating to Tupper's historical research, ranging from John Cabot and the early explorers to lesser-known local events in the history of Nova Scotia. Also present is a small collection of personal diaries and copies of deeds and legal documents from the Tupper family.

File contains the contract for the extension construction on Cumming Hall, the administration and classroom building on the Nova Scotia Agricultural College campus to be completed on or by November 24, 1912. The contract describes the work to be done, and the materials to be used in the additions and alterations to Agricultural College from the drawings and superintendence of Andrew R. Cobb, Architect, Halifax, N.S. “Set no. 5”.

Fonds consists of correspondence, financial documents, journals and ledgers, legal documents, photographs, plans, printed material, and reports. This material spans almost 60 years and gives insight into a company which changed hands several times, and also represented an important part of Nova Scotia industry. Through the material one is able to get a complete picture of the process of manufacturing pulp, from acquiring timber and land to machinery and labour used, to exporting the end product; it also demonstrates how business was conducted. Fonds demonstrates the organizational structure, management, and operations of the Scott Paper company, and provide insight into business operations in Nova Scotia in the 20th century.

Contract for the construction of the Head House to the greenhouse on the Nova Scotia Agricultural College campus

File contains the contract for the construction of the headhouse to greenhouse at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College between W.K. Murray (contractor) and Department of Public Works including modifications to specifications. The contract is dated November 5, 1913. Signed by "? Cobb" Architect; "E. H. Armstrong" Commissioner for Public Works and Mines; and "W.K. Murray" contractor.

The personal papers include files on specific actors, athletics, clippings and publications, festivals and workshops, financial records, Portus Theatre Productions (the production company he founded), school-related theatrical education materials, committee work, unions, associations, and a variety of other subjects. Correspondence includes letters to, from, and about Renton and are primarily theatre-related. The scripts were accumulated by Renton throughout his career as an actor, director, and producer. The fonds also includes photographs and slides of numerous theatrical productions.

The records provide evidence of the union's administrative and operational functions and activities, including contract negotiation, grievance administration, dues remittance, pension fund administration, membership and labour advocacy, workers' training and education and strike coordination. The records were created by the local's office staff, business managers, executive board, elected officials, Board of Trustees, membership and business associates. Earlier records (pre-1955) became part of the IBEW Local 1928 archive when other IBEW Locals were amalgamated with 1928.

File contains four business letters written to and from the Bill Lynch Shows from August 19, 1942 to July 16, 1947. The first is from the Bill Lynch Shows regarding a wallet lost on August 18, 1942 by Elmer Rogers and subsequently found, and is dated August 19, 1942. The second is from the Rudolph Wurlitzer Company regarding reconditioning a Caliola organ, and is dated October 6, 1942. The third is from the Annapolis County Exhibition Committee signed by Donald White regarding the Bill Lynch Shows returning from September 14-17, 1943, and is dated June 11, 1943. The fourth is from Teasdale and Foot, Limited and signed by Eric Teasdale regarding purchasing a car and multiple trucks for the Bill Lynch Shows, dated July 16, 1947.
