File contains pages from the draft of Arvid Pardo's "The Common Heritage: Selected Papers on Oceans and World Order," a collection of speeches, introduced by Elisabeth Mann Borgese. This collection includes pages of Mann Borgese's introduction (incomplete), and four statements by Pardo: The first statement was made to the First Committee of the General Assembly on 1 November 1967. The second statement was made to the plenary of the General Assembly in 1968. The third statement was made to the First Committee of the General Assembly on 29 October 1968. The fourth statement was made to the Legal Subcommittee of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of the Sea-bed and the Ocean Floor on 20 March 1969.
