Programs from St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church

File contains two programs for organ recitals given at St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church, one by Charles M. Courboin of Antwerp, Belgium and the other by Joseph Bonnet of Paris, France. The file also includes a newspaper clipping of a review for Bonnet's organ recital with quotes from John Daniel Logan.

Fonds consists of records relating to Renton's personal life as well as his acting and teaching careers. The personal papers include files on specific actors, athletics, clippings and publications, festivals and workshops, financial records, Portus Theatre Productions (the production company he founded), school-related theatrical education materials, committee work, unions, associations, and a variety of other subjects. Correspondence includes letters to, from, and about Renton and are primarily theatre-related. The scripts were accumulated by Renton throughout his career as an actor, director, and producer. The fonds also includes photographs and slides of numerous theatrical productions.

Speech for Short Story Award at the Writers' Federation of Nova Scotia Gala

File contains Budge Wilson's presenting speech for the Short Story Award at the 1999 Writers' Federation of Nova Scotia Gala (WFNS). The file includes her handwritten draft and final typed copy of the speech and a copy of the program for the event. The Short Story Award was won by André Narbonne with Leigh Anne Williams (second), Eve Mills Nash (third), and Lindsay Preston and Karen Leah Whalen (honourable mentions). Wilson's speech briefly discusses each individual and their short story submission.

Writers' Federation of Nova Scotia Short Story Award introduction notes

File contains a copy of Budge Wilson's memorial talk for Margaret Laurence, delivered at Trent University on February 2, 1987 and later published in the Canadian Woman Studies journal. File contains a program for the 1995-1996 Saint Cecilia concert series, which included a performance of Mendelssohn's Elijah by the Halifax Camerata Singers, Cantabile Singers of Truro, Cape Breton Chorale, and Kings Chorale, conducted by Jeff Joudrey, with Symphony Nova Scotia at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The file also includes a copy of the Nova Scotia Choral Federation's magazine Chorus, and newspaper clippings advertising the concert.
