File consists of records related to the planning of a solo exhibition at the Dalhousie Art Gallery of Carole Fraser’s drawings and paintings. Arranged by the Dalhousie Art Gallery for the 1965 rotation, this exhibition travelled with the Atlantic Provinces Art Circuit (APAC) from 1966 to 1968.

Item consists of an offprint of Carleton Stanley's address at the opening session of the 1933-34 Dalhousie academic year, delivered on October 5, 1933. Item discussing the recent passing of Archibald MacMechan, outlining goals for the freshman class, and warning of the "terrible situation that has overtaken academic life in Germany" and the threat to "intellectual freedom everywhere" posed by rise of the Nazis, and the need to ward off "selfish apathy and indifference", before encouraging all in attendance to go to Professor [Alfred Eckhard] Zimmern's forthcoming lecture series.

Fonds consists of textual records created and accumulated by various groups and organizations within the Institute of Public Affairs.. Records include articles, correspondence, minutes, memos, newspaper and magazine clippings, interviews, field notes, pamphlets and reports. Many of the documents pertain to the internal operations of the IPA.

The fonds also contains research proposals and reports related to energy, community growth, urban and rural development, labour studies, education, economic and industrial development, the medical sector and housing. There is significant work on the health, employment and economic status of African Nova Scotians.

The fonds also contains reference material kept by the IPA in its corporate library, which was used in the research and drafting of various reports.

This event was part of a series of outdoor performances that took place at Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site, Nova Scotia. Pamphlet "The Halifax Catastrophe"

Item is a pamphlet containing forty photographs of the Halifax Explosion on Thursday, December 6th, 1917. The explosion killed 1200 men, women and children, injured 3000 and left 6000 homeless, causing property damage of nearly $50,000,000. Issued by Royal Print & Litho Ltd. Pamphlet is missing pages.
