Items include a glass plate etching of McCulloch, microfilm copies of his books, a sample of his shorthand, a ticket to a lecture given by McCulloch, and correspondence. The collection also includes a microform copy of a thesis written by a Dalhousie student about McCulloch.

Thomas Head Raddall photograph album 2

Item consists of an album with 206 photographs taken between 1929 and 1941 by Raddall and others. Subjects include Raddall and friends and family; Raddall and Edith's vacation to Bermuda; Raddall and friends boating, and taking camping, hunting and fishing trips across Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island; historical artifacts including a -pound canon; images from a 1933 performance of "Three Live Ghosts" put on in Liverpool, Nova Scotia and in which Raddall acted; and Edith Raddall with her children, Tommy and Frances.

Item consists of an album with 401 photographs taken between 1917 and 1927 by Raddall and others. Subjects include Raddall's family and friends; the Halifax explosion, T.H. Raddall, Sr.'s death in W.W.I; Raddall's career as a wireless operator with various ships, crew members, and waterways; the fauna on Sable Island; Raddall's marriage to Edith Freeman; and vacations, hunting, and fishing trips with friends and family across the province of Nova Scotia.

The Impossible Museum fonds

Fonds contains a selection of documents, drawings, material samples, and images collected by D'Arcy Wilson and Lisa Bouraly during a two-year research project focused on Thomas McCulloch and Andrew Downs. The fonds is part of an exhibition, the "Impossible Museum," curated by Lisa Bouraly and featuring works by D'Arcy Wilson and Amy Malbeuf. The exhibition is presented by Eyelevel Gallery in the Thomas McCulloch Museum in the Dalhousie University Life Sciences Centre from March 5 to April 30, 2020.

Material includes a selection of texts and notes tracing Bouraly's research while preparing the exhibition. These documents were selected by Wilson from Bouraly's collection. Fonds also includes an encapsulated drawing of Thomas McCulloch, material swatches linked to one of the works in the exhibition, scraps and drawings left over from a collage, photographs of works in progress, a copy of the exhibition essay, and other material related to the exhibition. Fonds also includes photocopies of several nineteenth century texts reviewed by Bouraly during her research.

The file box includes a pair of white gloves and a list of materials in the box.

The Shipping Reference Collection incorporates virtually all miscellanous shipping records and reference material that were accessioned as part of "MS-8-Ref." A large portion of the collection consists of reference files on various vessels and shipping lines. A card-catalogue index known as "Master and Mates" provides references to microfilmed vessel papers, trade records, registers, and other related materials. The collection also includes photographs, slides, and published materials such as the Lloyd's Register of Ships.

The map is featured in C.W. Vernon's book Bicentenary Sketches and Early Days of The Church in Nova Scotia, Chronicle Printing Company, Halifax, 1910.

Photograph of two iron hatchets or tomahawks decorated with feathers, five stone arrowheads, and a Mi'kmaq "crooked knife"

Item, a photograph, has a stamp marking it copyright to the National Film Board on the reverse side. The tomahawk and stone arrowhead artifacts were found by Thomas Head Raddall at Indian Gardens, Mersey River in the 1930's. The tomahawks were originally made by the French and sold to the Mi'kmaq. The knife was crafted at Broad River, Queen's County, in the 1930's.
