Written account of Henry Ford's donation to the Nova Scotia Agricultural College

File contains an account, unsigned but believed to have been written by Dr. Melville Cumming, in regards to the donation of a tractor by Henry Ford to the Nova Scotia Agricultural College in 1917. Mr Ford had previously met then Premier the Honorable George H Murray and was introduced to Melville Cumming, Secretary for Agriculture and Principal of NSAC (1905-1927). There are annotations on the first page "Thanks very much - Len" and on the second page "He was here I understand on a trout fishing exhibition (expedition?)."

The Archives of the Writers' Federation of Nova Scotia consists of records created by the administration, members, and affiliates of the Federation. It includes a wide variety of materials including administrative records, audio/visual material, correspondence, financial records, meeting agendas and minutes for a variety of groups and committees, photographs, promotional and press material. The records refer to the adminstration and functions of the Federation, as well as its relationships with its members, government departments, and other writing, publishing and cultural groups.

WPA/FAP graphics

The file consists of records related to the planning of the prints exhibition "WPA/FAP graphics," organized and circulated by the Smithsonian Institution, and was presented at the Dalhousie Art Gallery from July 19 to August 14, 1977.

Records consist of correspondence with the Smithsonian Institution Travelling Exhibition Service, press releases (exhibition description), a photocopy of a clipping, an exhibition itinerary, invoices, a shipping contract, and a condition report.
