Handel's Messiah

File contains two programs for two performance of Handel's Messiah by Symphony Nova Scotia, conducted by Georg Tintner, with the Halifax Camerata Singers and Truro Cantabile Singers, directed by Jeff Joudrey. The concerts took place at the First United Church in Truro, Nova Scotia and at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The file also includes a newspaper review of the concert.

Founding day dinner program 1988

This file contains two programs (8.5x11 inches, folded in half) to the Nova Scotia Agricultural College Founding Day (Founder's Day) banquet held on 12 February, 1988 at Jenkins Hall. Columbia project

This sub-series contains records that were created and used in the partnership project with the Nova Scotia Agricultural College and the Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander (Columbia) in the development of a Training Program in Sustainable Agriculture at UFPS both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The program ran between 1997 and 2002. The Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander (UFPS) has been asked to play a key role in “El Salto Social”, the social leap forward, in the Santander region of Colombia. New curricula will be introduced at UFPS, faculty will be upgraded and new extension and outreach programs established with the assistance of NSAC through this project. Other project partners are the Universidad de la Republica Uruguay (URU) of Uruguay and Saint Mary’s University (SMU). This is an Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC) University Program for Cooperation in Development (UPCD) Tier 2 project led by NSAC. Program from Truro Cathedral

File contains a program for the carol service given at the Truro Cathedral on Holy Innocents Day (December 28, 1910), as arranged by the late Archbishop Benson.

Saint Cecilia concert series : the best of Bach

File contains a program for a concert by the Halifax Camerata Singers, performed in collaboration with the Cantabile Singers of Truro, members of Symphony Nova Scotia and guest soloists (Lorraine Thompson, Susan MacKay, Nancy Chisling, Douglas Rose, Ray Grant, Sue Doran, Christopher Francis, David Loughead and Gordon Murray). The file also includes a pamphlet for the Saint Cecelia 1992-1993 concert series and a newspaper clipping of a review of the concert.

Scrapbook

The file consists of a scrapbook of agricultural activity in Nova Scotia from 1900 to 1949. Entries include pencil drawings of animals and plants, newspaper clippings, pictures of NSAC buildings, breeds, and events on campus as well as agricultural events around Nova Scotia from the NS Dept. of Agriculture Annual reports.
