Item is the forth issue of The Dalhousian, a short-run student newspaper published to support the campaign for a new students' building. The issue contains a photograph and article featuring D. MacGillivray, the manager of the Canadian Bank of Commerce, elected campaign treasurer by the student body.
File contains 13 photographs that have been cut and mounted onto five sheets of board to create a panoramic view of the shoreline from Mahone Bay to Mader's Cove. The photographs are numbered on the front with felt pen.
Series contains incomplete runs of Dalhousie University Newsletter (1965-1971), University News (1971-1983), Dal News (1983-1989), Dalhousie News (1989-2008) and Dalnews (2008-2010), all of which were former paper iterations of the website Dal News, a service of Communications, Marketing and Creative Services. There are no issues for 2004-2007; individual numbers are missing from some volumes throughout the publications.
