Raddall, Sr.'s name on the lower left side. Raddall, Sr. was a former instructor in the School of Musketry at Hythe, and was killed while commanding the Winnipeg Rifles, Canadian Expeditionary Force at Amiens France on August 9, 1918.

Series comprises records created and collected by Henry Hicks during his studies in law at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar. Records include typewritten, perfect bound volumes of detailed notes about specific subjects and lectures, which were either created or acquired by Hicks.
