The miscellaneous reference file contains receipts, an application for membership with the United Textile Workers of America, an efficiency report for 1969, and a record of proceedings and decision of board referees. William Jarvis McCurdy fonds

Fonds consists primarily of correspondence and records pertaining to the Dalhousie Class of 1926 and William Jarvis McCurdy. Financial records include class contributions and invoice payments; correspondence includes letters exchanged between McCurdy and various classmates, letters to Elinor Barnstead and a letter from Elinor Barnstead to Wilfrid Creighton.

McCurdy's personal records include a newspaper announcement of his 1929 engagement to Avis Marshall, his 1931 doctoral thesis from Harvard University, and the memorial service program of his death in 1988.

File includes correspondence, licensing and royalty information, a draft of the book with illustrations, a published copy of the book, and the publishing agreement with Lorimer for the children's book Anna's Pet by Joyce Barkhouse and Margaret Atwood. The file also has two photographs from a puppet adaptation of Anna's Pets by Mermaid Theatre, directed by Fred Thury and designed by Tom Miller. Two other stories by Margaret Atwood, "Flying Rabbits and their Ancestors" and "Silent Sam and the Singing Sausage from Saturn" are also included.
