The file also contains a program for the New Brunswick Summer Music Festival (August 21-24, 2002), for which Pugh wrote program notes, and programs used by Pugh in his research, including those from the Edinburgh International Festival of Music and Drama, the Liverpool Philharmonic Society, and the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. The file also contains two letters from Michael R. Miller to Anthony Pugh about a reading by Allan Cooper at the Fredericton Playhouse premiere performance of Quintet Equinox by Canadian composer Michael R. Miller.

File contains drafts of, and research for, program notes by Anthony Pugh pertaining to the following composers: Giovanni Gabrieli, Francesco Geminiani, George Gershwin, Alexander Glazounov, Christoph Willibald Gluck, Mikhail Glinka, Edvard Grieg, Johan Halvorsen, George Frideric Handel, Franz Joseph Haydn, Paul Hindemith, Josef Holbrooke, Arthur Honnegger, Johann Nepomuk Hummel, Gustav Holst, Charles Ives, Dmitry Kabalevsky, Aram Khachaturian, Zoltan Kodaly, Édouard Lalo, Witold Lutoslawski, and Fritz Kreisler. As part of his research, Pugh analyzed music scores, and the annotated scores for Zoltan Kodaly's Cello Sonata, Op. 8 and Charles Ives' "The Unanswered Question," are included in the file.

The file also includes two programs for which Pugh wrote program notes: a concert presented by University of New Brunswick and Saint Thomas University Creative Arts society, "I Musici de Montreal" with Yuli Turovsky, conductor and cellist; and a Creative Arts concert by the resident musicians of UNB (January 29, 1989). Two other programs from concerts by the Liverpool Philharmonic Society are included as they were part of his research. The file also includes a letter to Anthony Pugh from "Don" (dated August 25, 1957 from Keele, England), which includes information on Hindemith.

File contains an assortment of invoices, correspondence, and change of address notices that James Morrison sent and received from 1973-1974 in Nigeria and in Colchester County, Nova Scotia. The file holds publication invoices from Blackwell's and Cambridge University Press, hand written correspondence from James Morrison to his wife Sheila Morrison, and bank statements from several Nigerian banks.

Programs from St. James's Hall

File contains two programs from a series of "Popular Concerts" on Saturday afternoons, directed by S. Arthur Chappell. Each of the programs includes musical excerpts and analytical remarks. The concerts featured a variety of performers, all conducted by Mr. Benedict. Performers included M.M. Joachim, L. Ries, Straus, Piatti, Miss. Carola, Arabella Goddard, Annie Edmonds, Henry Blagrove, Zerbini, Paque, Edith Wynne, and Clara Schumann. The programs are from the ninth and twelfth seasons at St. James's Hall in London, England.

Program notes, essays, handouts, and correspondence pertaining to Berlioz

File contains program notes, a short essay, and a handout on Hector Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique. The file also includes correspondence from David F. Bell regarding Pugh's submission to a Nineteenth-Century French Studies Colloquium at Duke University (Durham, North Carolina) and from Professor H.W.W. Warman of the University of Lancaster inviting Pugh to deliver a lecture on Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique.

Program and research notes pertaining to Delius

File contains research and program notes by Anthony Pugh on Frederick Delius. The file also includes a program for a performance of Delius's "A Mass for Life," performed by the Liverpool Philharmonic Society, conducted by J.E. Wallace, which Pugh collected and used in his research.

Items are catalogues for a juried exhibition of printed matter from an selection of international artists, organized by the Owens Art Gallery, Mount Allison University. The exhibition was presented at Dalhousie Art Gallery in April and May 1975.

Catalogues contain images of work in the exhibition, an introduction by Christopher Youngs (Director, Owens Art Gallery), and short biographies for artists included in the show.

This file also contains 3 photographs taken in 1986, showing decline in the Black Forest, West Germany.
