Academic and departmental correspondence and related material

Series consists of both incoming and outgoing personal correspondence relating to Bevan's work as an English academic, incoming and outgoing correspondence created during his time as head of the English department, and letters of recommendation written by Bevan for students and colleagues. Other material in this series includes documentation and records produced by Bevan relating to his general work within the English department, such as committee reports, minutes of meetings, department briefs, and university regulations for the period.

Acting records of Jenny Munday

Series contains documents related to theatrical, television, film, and radio performances of actor Jenny Munday. The documents include acting contracts, correspondence, theatre programs, reviews, newspaper articles, photographs, and other documents about the productions that Munday acted in. The documents also include greeting cards congratulating Munday for her performances.

The series consists of A. Stanley Mackenzie’s notes, drafts, and newspaper clippings for the addresses he gave throughout his professional career. His audiences were diverse, and included Dalhousie Medical School students, Canadian Club of Truro, Nova Scotia Hospital Nursing School students, etc.

Addresses & speeches by Melville Cumming

Series contains speeches and addresses written and delivered by Dr. Melville Cumming at events between 1918-1957. Many of these occurred at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College to graduating students and commemorating NSAC's anniversary.

Series consists of Guy Henson's notes, drafts, research material, newspaper clippings, and some memorabilia for the numerous addresses he gave throughout his professional career. His audiences were diverse, and included service clubs, school associations, provincial federations and associations, and women's institutes.

Administrative and operational records of the Dalhousie University Institute of Public Affairs

Series consists of documents accumulated by the administration of the Institute of Public Affairs (IPA). The majority of materials are minutes, memorandums, correspondence, and reports created by, or related to, several committees within the IPA. These committees were designed to develop policies, facilitate decision-making, manage projects, and maintain positive relationships with Dalhousie University administration. Series also contains several news and press releases issued by the IPA to generate publicity for important events hosted by the Institute or achievements of its staff. Series also contains academic plans and program guides produced by the IPA which offer insight into the curriculum at Henson College.
