Item is a copy of The Alumni News (Volume 20, Number 1, published by the Dalhousie Alumni Association. Numbering for this new series restarted in 1943. Issue includes an article by Prof. W.A. MacKay about the law school and an announcement about Henry Hicks' appointment as Dalhousie's new president.

Item is a photograph of of Gary Glovel (left) of the CDC presenting a plaque to Andrew MacKay, Vice-President of Dalhousie University. Photograph was published in University News on February 28, 1980 with the caption: "A plaque honouring the Dalhousie and CDC employees who worked to install the new CYBER 170 in the Dalhouise computer centre was presented to vice-president Andrew MacKay by Gary Glovel, senior vice-president of CDC, at a reception held last week."

A gifted all-rounder, she has been on the national junior volleyball team for two years and has been invited to join the World Cup qualifying tournament with the national team."
