It is undated and gives no authoring body. It was created after the 1931 census was made available. It contains two maps, and has sections describing NS geography, climate, education, cities and towns, roads, communications, agricultural development, farmers' organizations, women's institutes, and several descriptions of farms from representatives of the district.

Item is a report on the Cuban trip of Nova Scotia Agricultural College delegate attended written by Dr. W.A. Jenkins, Nova Scotia Agricultural College principal. The trip was sponsored by C.U.S.O., M.I.N.E.D., and N.S.A.C. and was made in response to a request from the Cuban government to Canadian University Service Overseas. There was a schedule for the 5 week visit arranged by the Division of Agricultural Technical Education. The report includes 3 pages of recommendations to the Cuban government regarding their agricultural education infrastructure and an appendix of the work plan, or schedule of activities of the 5 week Cuba visit.
