This file contains one wooden time capsule created by the graduating class of 2012, the last class of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College before they merged with Dalhousie University. They were to put about 50 articles in the time capsule, including pictures, a bottle of wine made at the college, frosh beanies, written memories and a synopsis of NSAC and banquet programs. Graduates had the opportunity to place their items in the time capsule during an awards banquet and was on the stage during their convocation ceremony. It was kept in the college's Cumming Hall for a short time before being donated to the Agricola Archives. It was the idea of Matthew Lawless, BSc, Co-chair of the graduating class, Jonathan Waugh and Jessica Dowe. It was built by Chris Nelson, NSAC Engineering Technician. It's about three feet by 12 inches and is made of pine and an exotic wood from South America called paduk. The time capsule will be opened when the Class of ‘12 meets for their 50th class reunion in the year 2062.
This file contains the program for the panel discussion "Nova Scotia Agricultural College - 29 Days Later - Perspectives in the Wake of September 11th, 2001". The panel was hosted at NSAC Alumni Theatre on October 10, 2001.
