Research materials on cemeteries and gravestones

File contains magazine articles, correspondence, and handwritten notes related to cemetery and gravestone studies compiled and created by Jessica Kerrin for writing mystery series for children. There is also a copy of the Cemetery Studies: A Guide for Teachers by Sean Rodman (November 1996), a printed copy of the Stories in Stone Patch Program at Mount Hope Cemetery (June 2004), and a photocopy of a few chapters of the book, Your Guide to Cemetery Research by Sharon DeBartolo Carmack (2002).

Fonds consists of manuscripts and proofs of Budge Wilson's books and short stories; correspondence with publishers, students, and teachers; publicity material; photocopies and clippings of reviews, profiles, and notices regarding awards and appearances; diaries; recorded radio interviews; and an assortment of other documents created and collected by the author throughout her writing career. The fonds also contains materials relating to the adaptation of Wilson's novel "Before Green Gables" into a Japanese animated television series.

Series consists of cards, letters, artwork, and stories given to Budge Wilson by children in schools that she visited in her capacity as an author.

Ann Connor Brimer keynote address launching Canadian Children's Book Week

File contains a copy of Budge Wilson's "Ann Connor Brimer Talk," the keynote address at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, which launched Canadian Children's Book Week in 1999. The speech addresses the state of children's literature in Nova Scotia.
