Item is a copy of the first separate edition of Marche funèbre from Chopin's Piano Sonata No. 2 in B-flat minor. The separated third movement was played as Chopin's body was conveyed to the mausoleum on October 30, 1849, and was subsequently released as a separate publication, using the original plates (891) by Troupenas. The file includes a folder and brief description of the work from Scribner.

Item is a copy of the first edition of Igor Stravinsky's piano arrangement of his ballet, "The Firebird." The ballet was written for the Ballets Russes in Paris, under the direction of Sergei Diaghilev. The piano arrangement was published shortly after the premiere performance on June 25, 1910 at the Théâtre National de l'Opéra.

Item is a photostat copy of Chou Wen-Chung's composition, based on "Yang Kuan," a composition for ch'in attributed to Wang Wei (689-759). The work for solo piano was sent to Ellen Ballon by the New York publishers, C.F. Peters, with an accompanying letter that indicated that the composition was undergoing publication.

File includes a letter from the Society to Ellen Ballon. The composition was "dedicated to the memory of Alexander Guroff."

Ronde pour orchestre : reduction pour piano

Item is a piano arrangement of one of the folk songs from "Huits Chants Populaires pour Orchestre" by Anatoly Lyadov (also spelled Liadov), which was originally written in 1905. The score is dated August 15, 1916 at San Sebastien and accompanied by a note from Scribner's publishing house that the score is an original manuscript of the composer's arrangement for pianoforte solo. However, Liadov died August 28, 1914. The publisher's note also indicates that it was previously part of the collection of Serge Diaghileff (Diaghilev).
