File contains two hats and two t-shirts used in either the February 14, 2005 launch of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College's centennial anniversary, or the finale event for held February 14, 2006.
1. NSAC beanie; blue and gold panels with an outline of a rams head.
2. NSAC ballcap; tan in colour with embroidered in blue: "NSAC 100 years & growing 1905-2005". 100% cotton. Slide adjustment in the back.
3. NSAC t-shirt: yellow in colour, size large. Gildan Activewear. 100% cotton. Front: "1905-NSAC02005" - in dark blue. Back: "NSAC-1905-2005" & Cumming Hall - in dark blue.
4. NSAC t-shirt: yellow in colour, size large. Gildan Activewear. 100% cotton. Front: Baby ram holding a baby's bottle and it's wearing an oversized shirt saying "Shinerama.ca:" since 1964 - in dark blue. Back: "NSAC-1905-2005" & Cumming Hall. Back: "NSAC-1905-2005" & Cumming Hall - in dark blue.

Nova Scotia Agricultural College satirical theater script

File contains a satirical script (ca. 1971) for a play focused on student life, the academic calendar, and social interests of the day at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. Topics include College Royal, sheep management, etc. It includes a list of actors: R. W. Hounsell (potentially NSAC faculty circa 1960s?); Ray Porth (NSAC Biology Faculty 1970-1980); J.S. (John) Bubar (NSAC Class ’50, and Plant Science faculty); Stuart Smith (NSAC Faculty 1964 to 1991; Len Eaton (NSAC Professor of Biology circa 1970’s and 1980’s (?); and, Gordon Delaney.

Item is the Nova Scotia Agricultural College centennial anniversary exhibit official opening program. “The Colchester Historical Society Museum salutes the Nova Scotia Agricultural College as it celebrates a century of service.” Has an insert which details some early and more recent NSAC yells.

File contains ephemera from the finale event for the Nova Scotia Agricultural College's centennial anniversary held February 14, 2006. The event was held at the upper foyer in Cumming Hall at 2 pm.

Included are invitations and a booklet for the event.

Dr. Bernie MacDonald, Acting President of NSAC was to do the welcome, the presentation of the time capsule was done by Dean Emeritus Dale Ells, Mary McPhee, President NSAC Students' Union, and Bernie MacDonald, Acting President of NSAC. Presenting the NSAC centennial CD - A Family Portrait was Jim Goit, Executive Director of Development and External relations.

There are 5 greeting cards that feature black and white photographs, each of a different landmark on campus. They are blank inside with a written description and "NSAC celebrates 100 years and growing in 2005": They are:
1. NSAC Cox Institute - a close up of the stone sign and word Institute with spring/summer floral landscaping in front.
2. West-facing stacked windows, MacRae Library
3. Water fountain, bird bath, in memory of Harold and Dorothy McKean, Alumni Gardens
4. Circular cobblestone patio, Alumni Gardens
5. The impost of the entrance arch, Cumming Hall

Also included are a temporary tattoo and a fridge magnet as well as the 2005 NSAC graduate class composite.

Records related to the launch of the commemorative postage stamp for The Nova Scotia Agricultural College's centennial anniversary

File contains invitations both from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College (3 copies) and from Canada Post to the launch of the Commemorative stamp for the Nova Scotia Agricultural College's centennial anniversary February 14, 2006. The event was held at the Alumni Theatre in Cumming Hall at 10 am. Dr, Garth Coffin, past principal was the Master of ceremonies and current president T. Philip Hicks unveiled the stamp along with The Honourable Robert Thibault and Mr. Wayne Quinn, Regional General Manager - Atlantic Canada Post. Also included in the file are two Official first day overs compliments of Canada Post Corporation, they feature the stamp issued.

(Dick/Richard) Huggard, Class of 1956, Chair of the NSAC Foundation, Ton Traves, President and Co-Chancellor of Dalhousie University, and the NSAC Students' Union. Also included was a template of Canada Posts invitation to a new stamp unveiling.

Item is the program for the 2nd annual Nova Scotia Agricultural College class of 1944 lectureship "Directions for sustainable agriculture" by Freeman L. McEwen, Ph.D. Dean, Ontario Agricultural College. The lecture was held January 28, 1987 in Alumni Theatre, Cumming Hall.

Item is a black and white photograph of Nova Scotia Agricultural College's prized stallion, Captain Aubrey, pictured with A. Dwyer driving a cart attached. From Dale Ells' Shaped through Service : an illustrated history of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College, page 95: Captain Aubrey was a bay horse that stood 15.3 hands in height, weighed around 1200 pounds. Captain Aubrey foaled in 1904 and had an impressive racing career until 1912, then began his career as a stud horse. He was purchased under the advice of Dr. Cumming for NSAC in 1917 and used for stud. Pure Bred Stallion Enrollment no. 14 Captain Aubrey 107 1/4 Son of Peter the Great 2:07 1 / 4.
