Fitzgerald and All Members of the Patrol," published by the Royal North West Mounted Police in 1911 and republished in 1919. There is a blank action request form from the CBC stuck to the first page that says "Thank-You. Bruce."

Fonds contains the personal papers, photographs and sound recordings of Barbara Hinds. The personal papers primarily comprise research material, article drafts, and newspaper clippings related to Hinds' journalism career, but also correspondence, research notes, diaries, maps and manuscripts. Sound recordings were largely created during Hinds' travels in the Canadian Arctic and include several interviews. Photographs include prints, slides, negatives and proof sheets, and were mostly taken in the Canadian Arctic, but also include research and personal photographs.

File contains letters from Murray Cunningham about a trip to Nova Scotia for students from the eastern Arctic, which took place from May 20 to May 30, 1972. The letters were sent to guests and hosts for the trip. The letters contain a list of the students participating in the trip, a schedule of events, and addresses and phone numbers of the hosts. Barbara Hinds was one of the hosts.

The photographs show residents of these places, the surrounding landscapes, aerial views, buildings, and boats. The file also contains slides from other dates that may have been taken in Halifax or in other locations.

File contains a diary kept by Barbara Hinds from September 6, 1965 to an unknown date. The diary is written in a small, six-ring binder with a plastic cover. The diary was kept by Hinds during a trip to Fort Chimo and other places in the eastern Arctic.
