Items consist of a letter from Lynn Eltherington, College Promotion Manager of Oxford University Press, to Jerome Barkow, apprising his book and marketing strategy; a letter from Louise C. Page, assistant editor at the Oxford University Press, to Jerome Barkow, saying that she provided a copy of the manuscript for his book in the letter; an announcement for the book provided by the Oxford University Press, complete with summary, metadata, and contents; a letter from Laura L. Dobbins of Cambridge University Press, to Barkow, saying that his book, Evolved Mechanisms in Human Behavior and Culture has been sent to Cambridge in England for review and approval; a publishing agreement between Stephen Kaplan and Sage Publications in 1986, with Kaplan sighing over his rights to his work, Aesthetics, Affect and Cognition: Environmental Preference from an Evolutionary Perspective; a correspondence between Joan Bossert, an editor of Oxford University Press, and Jerome Barkow, where Joan asks Barkow if he would assess a resource with multiple authors of different disciplines, and Barkow gives his comments; a letter to Joan Bossert from Barkow, asking about trying to coordinate with the author writing the foreword for Adapted Mind; a letter to Barkow from Gordon H.
