Doug Porter is a Halifax based artist and has been working with media and video mediums since the 1980s. Porter has exhibited artworks internationally. Porter is an instructor at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax.

Ann Verrall is a Halifax-based artist who is currently a writer, director, producer and educator within Shortworks Productions, a film production company that she owns. Verrall received a BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Verrall’s work specializes in working with young adults for the creation of videos that explores the lives of youth. Her projects have been broadcasted on television channels, including CBC, and exhibited internationally. Verrall has also taught film at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, and at the University of Regina.

Chris Callaghan was associated with the Centre for Art Tapes in 1988 in Halifax. His video work appears on a compilation tape of the Centre for Art Tapes, which is a part of their tape collection.

Jeff Semple was a musician who was associated with the Centre for Art Tapes in Halifax in the late 1980s. For a video recording “Georgia”, Eric Delisle provided graphics and Semple provided music.

Stephen O’Keefe was associated with the Centre for Art Tapes in 1988 with his video recording “On the Street”, which became a part of the centre's tape collection.

Chris Woods is a Canadian artist born in 1970 and is a self–described “military brat”. Woods has been a professional artist since 1988. Chris’ recent artworks have focused on the consumer landscape of shopping malls, fast-food restaurants and convenience stores. Woods’ video recording “Sanctuary of the Heart” was included in a 1988 Centre for Art Tapes compilation.
