This volume was in the possession of J.P. Martin (Class of 1916) until 1966 when it was delivered to Mrs. Giffin of the Dalhousie Alumni Committee.

Scope and content

This file contains minutes of the Arts & Science Class of 1916 meetings starting in the fall of 1913 and continuing through their Sophomore year. The class secretary was Gavin Stairs Jr, who along with his brother Graham, enlisted early in WWI. Both brothers lost their lives during the war. Most of the able bodied men from the Class of 1916 did not return to school in the fall of 1914.
